On May 30th 2010, Times Research
gave two awards to Accurate Institute of Management and
Technology, Greater Noida. The two awards viz.
"Best Placement amongst Management Institutes in Delhi/NCR"
in the light of 100% placements in leading organizations
including Bank of Maharashtra and "Best Institute
in Academic Excellence" in Delhi/NCR were
given in the light of various initiatives in the area of
academics. The award was received by the Group Director
Ms. Poonam Sharma at a gala function held at Gurgaon
and was honoured and privileged to have received the award
from Ms. Kiran Bedi.
On March 12, 2010 the
students contributed and participated in the annual event
"Celebrations 2010" organized
in the campus in the light of 100% placement of the students
from Accurate family. The students organized a wonderful
programme having an optimal blend of the east and the west.
the programme of the students was followed by the gracious
presence of the leading Poet Dr. Kumar Vishwas who left
a mark in the annals of history by delivering a scintillating
performance leaving the students and audience spellbound
by his excellent performance.
On Feb. 25, 2010, Mr. Vimal Babu, Assistant Professor (HRM)

On Feb. 10, 2010, Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Jain, Professor in Economics
& Chairman, Entrepreneurship Group, Department of Management
Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (An expert
in the arena of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)), Patents,
copyrights etc. visited our campus for a special
lecture on the broad theme "Indian SMEs: Success Strategy
through IPRs".
On August 17, 2009, the 4th orientation programme
was conducted for the PGDM, PGDM-MM, PGDM-IB, PGCM (RM)
students. The orientation program was graced by
the Chief Guest Mr. Vijay Ahooja, Director (Consulting)
SAP India who delivered tthe keynote address. The new students
were also addressed by the guests of honour Mr. Rajeev Shekri,
Vice President of Dhrovv India Ltd. (White Tiger) and Mr.
Jaynendra Singh, Assistant Vice President, Educomp Solutions
Ltd. The function was addressed by Professor (Dr.) Jitendra
K. Das, Director Accurate Institute of Management and Technology
and Professor (Dr.) Devendra Pathak, Director, Accurate
Business School. The pre-lunch session of the three day
orientation function ended with the vote of thanks by Ms.
Shiva Sharma.
On August 11, 2009, Mr. M G. Sanghvi, Executive Director
of Bank of Maharashtra along with his wife and Mrs. Deepika
Sanghvi inaugurated the extended campus of Accurate Institute

On May 19, 2009, Mr.
Durjay Puri gave a corporate presentation to all faculty
members and shared his knowledge regarding how
AXYLYN software can be implemented so as to radically revolutionise
and transform the delivery mechanism of the faculty members
in the classroom and to facilitate the lecture retrieval
process by the students by retrieving the entire video of
the lectures delivered in the class.

On May 16-17,
2009, Accurate Institute of Management and Technology
participated in the EDUCATION BOUTIQUE 2009,
- India's largest education fair as claimed by Education
Times- The Times of India Publication at Hotel Ashoka, Chanakyapuri,
New Delhi between 10 am to 8 PM. Students and their parents
were invited to visit the ACCURATE stall and meet the counsellors
and officials. The stall was visited by students, parents
and leading corporate doyens including Mr. Puneet Bhagchandani

On May 09, 2009, the MDP cell organized "CASE
TEACHING WORKSHOP FOR MANGEMENT TEACHERS".
The "Case Teaching Workshop for Management Teachers"
was organized by Professor Jitendra K. Das who was assisted
by Professor Vinay Jha and Dr. Rana Singh. We take this
opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to various organizations
for nominating their faculty members to attend the above
workshop from different parts of India. We also extend thanks
to the faculty members, sponsoring organization and oficers.

On May 08, 2009, the Faculty members congratulated
Mr. Gaurav Khanna, Alumnus of 2006-2008 batch PGDBM
from Accurate Institute of Management and Technology who
was working with Ogilvy and Mather, India
at Bangalore for his work on the poster at Bangalore which
was shortlisted for the coveted international CLIO
Awards of USA in the Posters Category on peace
theme published in Corporate Chhattisgarh. For more details

The final Awards were declared on 11th May 2009. His
work is one of the Clio 2009- Nine shortlisted entries which
has reduced India's tally by half. The Clio Awards, which
is celebrating its 50th anniversary, has announced the shortlists
for the year 2009. India has managed a total tally of nine
shortlisted entries this year, with agencies such as Publicis
Ambience, O&M, Leo Burnett and Contract figuring in
the final tally apart from Ogilvy and Mather. Publicis Ambience
leads the pack with three shortlists, whereas the others
have two each. We Congratulte Gaurav Khanna on his sincere
achievements and wish him all success in his future endeavours.O&M
has two shortlists to its credit. These are for its work
for Corporate Chhattisgarh, titled Peace Initiative in the
Poster – Campaign category and for IBM, titled Verb
Dictionary, in the Print: Direct Mail – Single category.
The latter has also won a bronze in the Direct - Dimensional
Mail category in Goafest this year.As for jury members from
India, this year only two have made it to the list, compared
to four members in last year's panel. This year, Senthil
Kumar, executive creative director, JWT India will judge
the Radio category, whereas Ravi Deshpande, chairperson
and chief creative officer, Contract Advertising, will judge
the TV/Cinema/digital category. The awards ceremony is took
place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas
on May 12-14, with awards being given out for 13
categories.
In May 2009, Accurate

On May 01, 2009, the students of PGDM, PGDM(IB)
and PGCM (Retail Management )went for Summer Internship
Program which is an integral part of their curriculum

On April 18, 2009, the students of the
PGDM programmes visited the Mother Dairy Plant
at Delhi organized under the supervision of Mr. Animesh
Singh, Head-Student Affairs Cell. The students enjoyed the
visit and got exposure to the various production processes
at the Mother Dairy Plant at Patparganj, New Delhi.

after kind approval by Cdr. Ashok Sharma, AGM (P&A)
North Zone.
On
April 10, 2009, Mr. Tushar Pandey, Executive
Vice President and Country Head - SIG, Yes Bank delivered
a special lecture on "Public Private Partnerships".
The lecture enlightened the students about the various minute
intricacies and modus operandi of Public Private Partnerships.
He focused on the exponentially emerging job opportunities
in the various sectors including finance, and banking sector
as well. Mr. Tushar Pandey is Executive Vice President &
Country Head- Strategic Initiatives & Advisory Government
(SIG), YES BANK. He has been responsible for establishing
this division as a key enabler of YES BANK's Knowledge Banking
approach and leads the Strategic Government Advisory &
Development Research & Advisory focus of the group.
As Country Head, he has also overseen significant Advisory,
Knowledge Partnerships, Publication, Papers and strategic
thought leadership initiatives with various governments
and industry organizations. Under his esteemed leadership
SIG has also undertaken prestigious advisory work with governments,
including Central Government Ministries, several state governments
and other development authorities encompassing governance
reform, policy advisory, Public Private Partnership (PPP)
among others. Recently, Indira Group of Institutes, Pune
honoured him with the ‘Indira Super Achievers Award’.
His areas of interest include Governance, Agr-ibusiness,
Alternate Tourism (& ecotourism) , PPP, Financing Models
for Sustainable Development and Community participation,
Infrastructure Privatization and Project Finance. He has
over 13 years of experience in various capacities in leading
organizations like Rabo India Finance, IL&FS, ANZ Grindlays-
Investment Bank and Reliance Industries. He holds an M.Sc.
(H) Economics and B.E. Mechanical Engineering from BITS,
Pilani.
On March 24, 2009, guest lecture was delivered
by Mr. Alok Agarwal (Ex- E.D. Polar Industries Limited).
The topic of his special lecture was "SURVIVAL
STRATEGIES FOR INDIA INC. IN GLOBAL MELTDOWN/ECONOMIC SLOWDOWN,
IMPACT ON IB AND FUTURE OF ORGANISED RETAILING."
On March, 11, 2009, Holi was celebrated
with much fanfare and best wishes were extended to the faculty
members, staff and the students.
On March 07, 2009, Shahed Karim
was nominated as the 'Best Student' for
the Best Management Student Award organized by the Noida
Management Association, Noida.
On March 06, 2009, Ms. Nidhi Khurana,
Assistant Professor in Information Technology, contributed
her paper which was accepted for presentation in the conference
organized by Thapar University, Patiala. Her research paper
has also been accepted in an international conference scheduled
to be held in Las Vegas, USA.
On March 03, 2009, Blood Donation
Camp was organized at the Institute in association
with the Rotary Club with the spirit to contribute to the
corporate social responsibilities by helping the medical
world in saving more lives. Volunteers desirous to donate
blood may get in touch with any member of the Student Affairs
Cell or the Head -Student Affairs Cell, Mr. Animesh Singh.
On Feb. 27, 2009, Mr. Animesh Singh, Head
of Students Affairs Cell shared the news with delight and
wished goodluck to students for their future endeavours
regarding the prizes and accolades being won
by our students outperforming the students of various other
B-Schools in the recently concluded event Sankalp at GL
Bajaj Institute of Management, Greater Noida, U.P.. The
first prize in the event Brand Equity-A
quiz on brand awareness was won by the team of Manish Kumar
Sahoo and Prashant Priyam both from PGDM batch 2008-10.
The second prize in the event Brand Equity-A
quiz on brand awareness was won by the team of Satyaban
Behuria and Shahed Karim. The
second prize in the event Think a toons-Extempore
was won by Satyaban Behuria. The first
prize in the event Tycoons-Business Plan was
won by the team of Shahed Karim and

On Feb. 11, 2009, the Institution felt
honoured with the gracious presence of "ALLAN
C.A. PAREIRA", Chairman and Managing Director
of Bank of Maharashtra during his second visit on our Campus
to inaugurate the "Seminar Hall"
and two "Conference Rooms" with
world class facilities and delivered the
"Inaugural Session" on "Contemporary
Banking" . In his previous visit, Our PGDM
batch students of 2008-2010 were deeply inspired by his
motivating and scintillating address to the students. The

In Feb. 7, 2009, Accurate Institute, Greater
Noida was awarded "Best Management institute"
& "Best Campus" awards in recently
held, All India AChievers Conference's Rashtriya Shiksha
Shiromani awards. Amidst the gathering of some of most well

On Dec. 13, 2008, the students of PGDM,
PGDM(IB) and PGCM(Retail Management), the students went
for "Industrial Visit" to Dabur India
Limited at Sahibabad and Global Autotech limited, Greater
Noida in concomitance to our sincere endeavour
to provide corporate exposure to the student managers. The
students had a wonderful learning experience in the company
of faculty members coordinated by Mr. Animesh Singh, Head-Students
Affairs Cell. The Centre for Corporate Relations Department
has been consistently contributing to the various processes
of providing exposure to the students.
On Nov. 25, 2008, "Jagran"-A
spiritual event was organized.The students on campus enjoyed
spiritual flavour as they participated in the Three Hour
event to strengthen their religious and spiritual values.

as well as the spiritual domain of the students to provide
them the power of intellect and spirutuality to outperform
in all areas.
On Nov. 14, 2008, Professor Fabio
Sdogati, Full Professor from Milano Italy delivered
a Special Lecture on "How to do business in
Europe".Currently he is Professor of International
Economics at the Politecnico di Milano, which he joined
in 1990. Between 1993 and 1996 was also Associate Professor
of Monetary Economics at University of Parma.Between 1985
and 1990 taught International Economics in the United States,
with two major interruptions: in 1987-88 was Jean Monnet
Post-Doctoral Fellow at the European University Institute
(Fiesole), and in 1989 was Research Associate at the Schuman
Center at the same institution. He is on the Faculty of
MIP since 1992 as an Instructor of International Economics.
On Nov. 13, 2008, the process for assisting
the students in Summer Placement/Internship to
be undergone by every student in the forthcoming year was
initiated by the Placements team under the dynamic leadership
of Dr. Neeraj Sabharwal, Director-Centre for Corporate Relations
and her team members.
On Nov. 08, 2008, the
faculty colleagues joined the director in congratulating
Mr. Akhilesh Barve, Associate Professor in Management on
publication of his research article in 'European Journal
of Industrial Engineering' on the topic "The

On November 6th, Online Course
Management System was implemented to facilitate
the teaching and learning process beyond the classroom on
the lines of the premier B-Schools of India and abroad.
The Institute has been consistently delivering best quality
services to facilitate technology enabled learning environment
to produce world class techno-business managers. The online
course management system will provide a catalytic boost
to the teaching and learning process thereby ensuring exponential
improvement in the delivery of quality content of domain
knowledgeof various areas in management to the students.
On October 27th, Deepawali,
the festival of lights was celebrated by worshipping lord
Ganesha and Godess Laxmi. The top echelons of management
extended best wishes on the occasion of Deepawali to all
Students and Faculty Members. The occasion was made memorable
by distribution of sweets, gifts and festival greetings.
During September 29th -October 5th, 2008
Mr. Animesh Singh, Sr. Lecturer in Management, attended
a Faculty Development Programme on "Strategic Management"
sponsored by All India Council of Technical Education, Ministry
of HRD, Government of India, at IIM Lucknow.
On 13th September, 2008 the Senior Students
of PGDM (2007-09) batch gave a warm welcome to the freshers
i.e. the students of PGDM (2008-10), PGDM(IB)(2008-2010),
PGCM(Retail Management)(2008-2009) in continuation with
the rich and varied culture and tradition at Accurate Institute.
The seniors and juniors gave a great show by their combined
efforts and participated in various cultural programmes
followd by delicious and sumptuous dinner to leave the sweet
memories of this memorable day in the annals of history.
The day became more memorable in the light of the fact that
the seniors shared the quantum leaps that the Institute
has made in various domain areas of academics, placements,
research etc.
On 3rd September, 2008 Ganesh Chaturthi
was celebrated. Lord Ganesha was worshipped in line with
the thought process of going ahead with the religious and
cultural heritage.
On 17th August, 2008, PGDM Batch went to
Singapore for the "Foreign Orientation Program"
and attended lecture at National University of Singapore
(NUS). The students visited MDIS and various other strategic
locations pertaining to academics and Industry.The students
had a global level exposure which helps them to become global
managers. The Group was led by Ms. Poonam Sharma, Group
Director and Dr. J. K. Das, Director(Management). The PGDM
students were enthralled by the excellent experience and
got international exposure par excellence.
The Two day orientation programme for the batch 2008-10
of course Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM),
Post graduate Certificate in Management i.e. PGCM (Retail
Management), and Post graduate diploma in Management (International
Business) was held on 31st July 2008 and
1st August 2008. The chief guest was Mr. G.P. Rao
and the Guest of Honor was Mr. C.K. Kurien. There was huge
gathering of students and their parents on this occasion.
It was two day event started with Saraswati Vandana followed
by welcome address given by our Group Director, Ms. Poonam
Sharma. Our esteemed Chairman Shri C.L. Sharma blessed the
students with the words of wisdom. The Journal-“Accurate-
A Business Review Journal” was launched by the chief
guest which marked the beginning of research arena in the
Institute’s history. There was an interesting Ice-Breaking
Session which gave the real feel of corporate culture to
the students.
The MCA Programme was launched
by the Engineering Department to impart a dedicated course
at masters level in the area of computer applications. The
MCA programme aims at developing the best of the software
developers and IT Professionals to cater to the exponentially
increasing demand of skilled IT professionals. Indian IT
professionals have been consistently in demand all across
the globe. To leverage the bandwagon of exponentially growing
IT and software development, this course has been launched
to develop IT professionals par excellence.
On 07th July, 2008 Accurate announced launch of
PGDM (IB) batch 2008-2010 to be added in its success stories.

On 15th May, 2008 Dr. Jitendra K. Das,
Ex-Dean IIM Lucknow Noida Campus joins Accurate as Director
to provide his visionary leadership and guidance. Dr. Das
has been a renowned personality of his area and has his
great contribution in the field of industry and academics.
Accuratians participated in the NDTV Talk Show
held at the NDTV Studio in Film City Noida. ,
On 29th Dec 2007, the most colourful & Grand day
was celebrated in Accurate Institute of Management & Technology.
Event was a perfect amalgamation of various cultural & academicals
events like play, dance, fashion show, debate and Business
Quiz. This program gives a clear indication that Accurate
Institute is doing well in academics as well as cultural
events & stands at par with other premium B-Schools.
In devotion of Ma Durga, a ratri jagran was organized by
the Institute. Mr. Narendra Chanchal performed on this occasion.
Students were on a high and were excited by his spellbound
performance.
The retail students participated in a seminar on
Retail conducted by Retail Association of India. The students
also attended seminar on retail marketing in India.
The students who participated in it were immensely
benefited and this gave them a bent of mind for research
based thinking.The Seminar comprised of stimulating discussions
on various topics related to the challenging retail sector
in India today, such as mass, luxury, food and entertainment
retailing.
On 28th Sept 2007Mr. Anurag R. Iyer, First
year student of PGDM 2007-09 was awarded as the Second best
student by Noida Management Association(NMA). The award
was presented by Dr. H. S. Anand(Secretary- Urban Development),
Mr. P.K. Mishra(Secretary- Government of U. P.), Mr. R.
K. Rastogi (President NMA) and Mr. Alok Agarwal (President
student Award Committee) & Executive Director, HR, Polar
Ltd.
Accuratians Vikrant Negi and Anurag R. Iyer (PGDM 2009)
won the First Prize in Inter B-School Quiz organized at
Greater Noida.
On 8th Sept 2007,Amidst the scintillating
lights and starry evening, the management students celebrated
its fun filled fresher party. The party became a great success
with the future managers performing at their best.
7th July 2007 was considered an auspicious
date. It was appropriately named “Satte pe Satta”.
It was an enthralling experience for all who witnessed it.
All the students, faculty and visitors were left wanting
and more.
On 7th Jan 2007, the best teacher award
was given to Mr. M. P. Singh(Asst. Professor, Marketing)
Top performing students were also felicitated.
On 20th Oct 2006 and again on 8th Nov
2007 sweets were distributed amongst all the students and
staff members on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. The
festival worked as an occasion where every body resolved
to be correct and truthful.
On 5th Sept 2006 and again in 2007 , the
Teacher’s day was celebrated with lot of zest and
verve by the students and faculty members. A candle epitomizes
hope, optimism and knowledge and so does a teacher. The
lines delivered by the students rendered smiles on the faces
of the teachers. A short party given by the students reflected
their admiration for their teachers.
On 13th Jan 2006, the PGDM students organized
a Bon-Fire evening and a proper ritual based programme was
successfully completed.
Forthcoming Activities and events.
The institute plans to organize Seminars on the contemporary
business issues. The idea behind the seminar is to familiarize
the students more extensively with the methodology of their
chosen subject and also to allow them to interact with examples
of the practical problems that always crop up during research
work.
The Institute proposes to organize national
and International level workshops with inputs from Accurate
group of companies.
There will be Management Development programmes
as well. The program would enable the participants deliberate
on the important issues faced by the business these days.
The program would involve sessions where topics like good
corporate governance, CSR, Sustainable Development, Energy
Conservation, Social Development, right of employees and
customers, equity in treatment for all.
The emphasis of the Entrepreneurship Development
Program is to make the participants aware on the strategic
issues involved in the inception of a new business. The
importance of a proper strategic intent in the creation
and development of new business will be celebrated by discussing
examples of business that have evolved from the grassroots
level.
