Key note about Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department:
Power sector is going to play an instrumental role in re-fueling the growth of emerging India. It is one such domain where-in lots of potential is lying untapped due to shortfall of core man-power resources and lack of focus.
If the need of right-aptitude human resource is met with sharp focus on this sector, it can not only address the energy deficit of our country but also move faster to be the “World Power” by 2020 in line with the vision of Ex. President Dr. Abdul Kalam.
Vision:
To develop Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department as a centre for excellence for research-based activities and learning of core concepts through intensive practical activities along with in-depth study through class room teaching.
Mission:
- To foster learning through innovative and out-of-the-box approach
in teaching methodologies.
(2) To promote research-based projects/activities taken up by students and
Faculty jointly or under guidance of respective faculty members.
(3) To develop low cost products using green technology for society.
(4) To organize seminars/conferences in the department so that faculty and
students can learn through sharing by eminent personalities from elite
Institutes
Various activities in the Department:
Recreational activities are also planned for encouraging team-cohesion and working in tandem for achieving common goal of academic excellence.
Engineering education is not complete unless and until there is right proportion of human skills injected along with engineering subjects’ knowledge. Accountability and responsibility feelings are inculcated in the students so that they can identify their roles into contributing in the development of new products and technologies useful for society, simultaneously, keeping the environment safe and clean. Following activities are planned and organized in the department to meet above objectives:
(1) To inculcate human skills & help them understand their responsibilities as
engineers, Life-skill and Personality development programmes are integrated
into the course curriculum for holistic development.
(2) Industrial visits and excursions to places of practical importance are planned
bridge the gap between theory and practical and gain more confidence.
- Guest lectures from corporate big-wigs are planned and organized to let our students have industries-specific requirements through dynamic interaction
between corporate and academics.
Departmental Library:
Library is the nerve centre or life line of any department or institute. The departmental library has comprehensive date base of books of all the subjects for reference purposes.
Departmental library also extends facilities to lend books to needy students incase a particular book is not available in the main library or incase students can not afford buy that books.
Internet facilities:
Internet is an finite source of knowledge and information in any domain & territory. It has already brought-about an unthinkable revolution. Internet facilities is extended in the software lab of the department to facilitate indepth and faster learning about various concepts and theories.

Department profile
Head: M S Naruka , being a learned person, looks sheerly dedicated for the development of the department , as per the newly changed technologies in modern technical world. His proficiency looks from his behaviour as he achieved his B.E. (Electrical Engg ), M. Tech in power system control & pursuing PhD programme under the esteem supervision of renowned academician Prof. Dr. D. S. Chauhan
( Former Vice- chancellor, UPTU) & Prof Dr. S. N. Singh ( BHU). 
The Electrical & Electronics Engg department in line with it vision has all the faculty resources as per the AICTE & University norms to achieve academic excellence. The department has the right mixture of faculty from premier institutes and corporate sector with reasonable experience.
