We at Accurate have pioneered the model of achieveing academic excellence by structuring the system, operations and standard operating procedures. We start the academic session with the orientation programme to give the students a holistic framework and overview of the forthcoming two years of academic processes.

The three days orientation programme for the students of PGDM, PGDM-MM, and PGDM-IB was organized on 5th, 6th and 7th July 2010. The event was an overwhelming success under the visionary planning and guidance of the Group Director Ms. Poonam Sharma. The event was wonderfully managed by team of accomplished professionals having versatile experience in various domain areas of management.

Accurate institute of Management and Technology, Greater Noida, which has consistently been rated as a premier management institute in Delhi/NCR organized a star-studded Orientation / Induction Day Programme for the students of PGDM, PGDM (Marketing Management) and PGDM (International Business). The function was inaugurated by the Udyog Ratna Awardee and Ex CMD, MMTC Dr.B.B.L.Madhukar and also graced by the presence of corporate dignitaries from 24 Business Houses/Industries. The programme started by lighting the lamp by the Chief Guest Dr.B.B.L.Madhukar, Shri Venu Gopal Global H.R., HT Microelectronics,  Shri Jyanendra Singh, Senior Vice President Edu Comp. Solutions, Dr.A.R.Subramanian, Director AIMT and Dr. D. Pathak, Director ABS.

The induction day programme began with the welcome address by Dr. A.R. Subramanian, Director AIMT and was followed by an address by DR. D. Pathak, Director ABS.

Dr.B.B.L.Madhukar was the Chief Guest at the Occasion and his inspiring address was followed by the industry oriented interaction series by Shri Venu Gopal Global H.R., HT Microelectronics and Shri Jyanendra Singh, Senior Vice President Edu Comp. Solutions who shared the secret of success in the field of management and Business with the students and invited audience.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. A. R. Subramanian, Director, AIMT said, “It is a pleasure to have amidst us the stalwarts of the industry whose contribution towards a flourishing India is of high eminence. In today’s competitive world, it is extremely important to build new hopes everyday and strive for the best in life. We heartily welcome the new batch of students in Accurate Institute and wish that they would excel in whatever the venture into to which Dr. D. Pathak, Director, ABS added that it is our endeavour at Accurate to lend a glimpse to the road ahead which has immense opportunities to explore and outshine in life. It is all about acquiring personal and organizational skills and competencies, develop capability to adapt to diverse cultures, socio economic environments, and organizational and institutional set –ups.”

Dr.B.B.L.Madhukar , Ex.CMD MMTC , Chief Guest at the Occasion said, “ It is very important to be hungry to learn, have inner aspirations and perspirations by taking everything in one’s stride. It is extremely important to self examine and continue to make efforts in spite of failures as they are the part of life. One should never think that he know everything and should always be a learner. He recited two line of a poem- “CHADHE HIMALYA KI CHOTI PER, AUR BHI UPAR CHADHNA HAI. HAME HIMALAY KE BHI UPAR NAYA HIMALAY GARHNA HAI”. (We will not stop at the top of Himalya as we have to rise further, we will create another Himalya at the top of the Himalya).

Afterwards a lot of cultural and entertaining performances were enjoyed by the audience. The students were provided the opportunity to interact with the esteemed guests from the industry. The students were seen very keen to know directly from the industry people about the secrets of success in the field of Management and how they should prepare themselves for the same.

On 6th July, the programme also got enriched by the gracious and benign presence of Professor (Dr.) Binod Kumar (Formerly Professor -IIM Calcutta) who enlightened the students about the various models of excellence and the key variables of success. Dr. Kumar also illustrated the various models of excellence and the process of achieving excellence in real life corporate world. He inspired the students by his mesmerising communication sharing the outcomes of his experiential learning gained over three decades of experience in various leading institutions in India and abroad including various foreign universities in USA, Australia, UK and Europe.

Later on Group Director Of Accurate Institute, Miss Poonam Sharma said that we are really thankful to all the dignitaries from the Industry and we expect that we will continuously enjoy the same level of cooperation and support from the corporate world. She further emphasized the need of the expert guidance from time to time, from the industry in order to design the curriculum of the PGDM Programme. At the end memento were also presented to all the distinguished guests.

The students enjoyed the overall process of orientation programme giving them deep rooted orientation regarding the overall academic processes, systems, standard operating procedures and the overall academic journey. The programme was an optimum blend of inspiring words, motivational thoughts, nerve-chilling and heart thrilling entertainment followed by deep exposure to the various aspects of academic excellence including extensive and elaborate detailing about academics, research, consulting, coporate training/MDP, placements, library and computer lab etc.
