Mechanical Department celebrated September 17 as Vishwakarma Puja to pay obeisance to Lord Vishwakarma; regarded as the god of architecture and engineering. It was a resolution time for students and faculty to dedicate themselves to the cause of advancement of technology and gain divine inspiration for creating novel products. This ritual is performed within the workshop with special prayers, havan and distribution of sweets.
According to Hindu mythology Lord Vishwakarma is the builder of all the gods’ palaces, and the designer of all celestial vehicles and weapons.
Extracurricular activities are an integral part of Management education, which helps in attaining the wholesome development of human capital. Last week, Accurate Institute of management and technology organized one day sports activity in campus to inculcate sportsmen spirit in students.
The sports day was full of fun and frolic with Cricket, Badminton and Volleyball matches being played by various teams from different departments of PGDM, MBA and B.Tech.
To encourage students, faculty members from each department have also participated in the event by playing cricket along with students which instilled zeal among students.
In the Cricket and Volleyball match, team of PGDM students won the match. In badminton, MBA students won the match.
The event concluded with winning teams being awarded by the Institute. Overall, it was a refreshing break for the students, faculty and staff.
In addition to the series of activities and events to improvise organizing and managerial skills of our students and to inculcate spiritual values in their personality, Accurate Institute of Management and Technology has organized a seven day Ganpati Utsav. The students of various courses undertook active participation in organizing this special festival of Lord Ganesha .The festival celebrated Lord Ganesha as the God of New Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles as well as the God of Wisdom and Intelligence.
We began these celebrations on September 2, by bringing Ganesha clay idol in Accurate campus followed by chanting of Vedic hymns. For next seven days, faculty, staff and students offered prayers in the form of singing bhajan in morning as well as in evening.
On seventh day, Ganesha visarjan was done by all students with full grandeur. From start till end each and every student showed full dedication and excitement during the celebrations. Students played a vital role in successfully organizing the Ganesh poojan and requested to make it happen every year.
Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, is a festival
that commemorates the birth of the revered Hindu god Ganesha – the harbinger of
new beginnings and the remover of all evils.
The festival of ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ was celebrated with fervor and
religious spirit this year at Accurate Group of Institutions from 2nd
September 2019 to 6th September 2019. ‘Sthapana’ marked the prelude
to ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ celebrations in the campus. Lord Ganesha’s idol was
welcomed to the college by devotional songs and dance performances to the
melodious beats of drums. The idol was installed with great enthusiasm abiding
the Hindu rituals. There is a belief in Hindu mythology that Ganesha’s arrival at
one’s doorstep brings loads of wisdom, prosperity and happiness to one’s
household and abolishes the problems and obstacles faced by that household.
The Chairperson Ms.
Poonam Sharma graced the event by every
day pooja and archana along with faculties, staff members and also students of all
the departments actively participate in this festival. This festival
brings all the students together and helps to lighten the mood amidst the hectic
schedule.
After the
entire day of rituals and Mahaprasad, then comes another category that leave
everyone in the dust. The… wait for it… Visarjan.
Bidding
adieu to such a lovable god is always hard. We at Accurate do that in a customary
style by setting farewell to Lord Ganesha with Dhol-tasha pathaks and
abiranjali with everything is set in order. The Visarjan miravnuk (procession)
begins from the Accurate Campus to the
nearest natural source of water i.e Bilaspur lake with live music, and colors
Although the Ganpati visarjan brings a sombre mood to the college,
it provides an opportunity for everyone to say ‘Pudchya Warshi Lawkar
Yaa’
With this we wish every year may lord Ganesha showers his blessings so that we can celebrate this auspicious occasion with more pomposity and gaiety.
Teacher’s day was celebrated by students of MBA department with lots of enthusiasm and fervor. In the forenoon, students of senior batch played the role of teachers in junior batch classes and tried to understand the pain a teacher takes in delivering the classes. In the afternoon, students organized a cultural program dedicated to teaching and their teachers, several games in which teachers participated with full enthusiasm were organized by students. There were skits, presentations, dances and songs, couplets presented by students which faculty members and students enjoyed very much. Director Management in the end thanked all the students on behalf of all the faculty members and advised them to show same enthusiasm and spirit towards their studies.
Teacher day was celebrated at Accurate Institute of Polytechnic, Greater Noida. On 5th Sep 2019. The birth anniversary of Dr. S Radhakrishnan was celebrated. Students from Polytechnic performed various cultural activities like dancing, singing, Nukkad-Natak and Debate competition. The Motto of the program was to enhance and develop a strong Teacher Student’s relationship. There were motivational speeches from the Director and Teacher’s to motivate the students to reach toward their Goals. At the end of the day there was a prize distribution Ceremony for the winners. The whole program completed with huge Success.
The students of B.Tech celebrated Teacher’s Day on September 5, 2019 in the Memory of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. More than 200 students of B.Tech. from all branches performed various cultural events.
Teacher’s Day was celebrated on 5th Sep 2019 by students of Accurate College of Pharmacy. Pharmacy students did some marvelous performance like Dance, Song, Speech and Role Play. All the faculty members (Mrs Kalpana Singh, Mr. Akhil Sharmaand Mr. Hemant Kumar) and Principal Dr. Dev Prakash Dahiya were present.
