Curriculum of D. Pharm Program

The curriculum of D. Pharm. consists of preparatory and core required subjects that provide students with practical, concepts, and theories in the pharmacy field.

The ER-2020 D. Pharm. curriculum has a good structure. The key contents of the course will contribute to the specific knowledge and or skill development. The faculty will orient the students about the scope of the D. Pharm. course at the beginning and intermittently to give them a better understanding. The D. Pharm curriculum includes the course objectives, course outcomes, theory, practical, tutorials, assignments, field visits, and practical training.

The exam pattern includes two or more periodic sessional (internal assessment) examinations during each academic year. The duration of the sessional exam shall be 90 minutes. The highest aggregate of any two performances shall form the basis of calculating the sessional marks. It also includes internal assessment and final board/ University examination.

The course consists of a well-defined syllabus that is established by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The course fulfills the desired needs of society, the expectation of healthcare, and the demands of other stakeholders of the pharmacy.
