Yamaha Bikes in India<\/h1>\n

India Yamaha Motor Private Limited is an Indian subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Company, Japan. Yamaha started its journey in India with the launch of RD350 in 1985. Yamaha CEO Hiroyuki Yanagi.Yamaha and Escorts Group entered into joint venture in 1996; subsequently Yamaha acquired remaining stakes from Escorts Group in 2001 and became 100% subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Company, Japan. Today, the company is in agreement with Mitsui & Co. Ltd. who became joint-investor in the company in 2008 and the company was renamed to India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. \u00a0 Yamaha is Omni-present in Indian bike scenario with product range starting from commuter bikes and goes up to performance bikes. The Japanese company is on a mission build long-term relationship with customers by raising their lifestyle. \u00a0 Currently its product portfolio includes VMAX, MT01, YZF-R1, FZ1, YZF-R1 version 2.0, Fazer, FZ-S, FZ16, SZ-R, SZ & SZ-X, SS125, YBR 125, YBR 110 and Crux which covers all the segments of the bike. Yamaha is the only manufacturer from foreign land to flourish and succeed in Indian market at this scale. The company gained from the policy of developing bikes especially for India through which it gained a lot of popularity among Indian<\/h2>\n

Industrial visit to Yamaha Motors\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the month of \u00a0October we the students of PGDM 1st year visited Yamaha Motors with the faculty for industrial visit. We were a batch of 40 students.In the organisation they welcomed us with the intro to the company and how they modified their products for Indian market which further lead to the visit to Manufacturing unit which was whole lot of learning . Parts are manufactured by automatic robot machine and v.belts, drive chains\u00a0and sprockets, spark plug is formed. And the body of the bike and the tires are made. We also got the opportunity to see how the parts of the bikes are assembled and painted in paint shop. The unit was well maintained and the employees were very helping and led us know the whole process then we come back to the orientation room and served with refreshments. After the day full of learning and fun we get back to college.<\/p>\n
