Eligibility Criteria

A bachelor's degree in any discipline as recognized by UGC, under 10+2+3 system with minimum 50% marks ( 45% in case candidate belonging to reserved category). Candidates appearing in the final year may also apply, provided they complete all formalities of examinations before 31st October 2021 the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria. The above candidate must provide a valid CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT score marks.

Specialization

The institute presently offers the following six specialization tracks:

  • Banking & Finance with Mumbai Stock Exchange Certification (BSE)

The specialization papers, also known as Elective Papers are offered from Term III. The choice for areas of specializations has to be exercised by the students by the end of Term III, so that they can take up the specialization papers from Term IV onwards.

*To run an elective it must have a minimum strength of 25% of total batch size or 25 students whichever is higher and subject to approval of Director.

Admission Procedure

Candidates are required to appear in CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA and produce the score card. Group discussions and personal interviews are conducted at the Institute and various other places. Admission merit list is prepared on applicant’s academic record, work experience, scores in management test, performance in Institute’s selection process including group discussions and personal interviews.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The program of study aims at preparing graduates for taking up corporate assignments/entrepreneurial venture or carrying forward their family businesses. PGDM is designed with the objective of creating excellence in the Business and Social community by training students to be capable professionals equipped with the skills and knowledge of management combined with human values.

The objectives of this program are -

  • LECTURES


    The faculty members design their lecture delivery schedule with a special focus on incorporating the most relevant content for the budding managers. Lectures are optimally supported by presentations, case studies, management games, business games, business plans, financial modeling, quizzes, workshops, seminars and conferences.

  • STUDIES


    Many international research findings have positively recommended the case study method as an important methodology in management education. The case study method of teaching at Accurate provides our students the analytical orientation to handle the real life scenario with higher degree of comfort. The students participate whole heartedly in all the three processes of development of case studies, analyzing case studies, and solving case studies by applying the concepts and ideas of management.

  • PROJECTS & ASSIGNMENTS


    Projects are compulsory and indispensable part of the curriculum at Accurate. All students are compulsorily required to undertake Research Projects/ Live Projects and prepare the dissertations according to their curriculum. The Summer Internship Project of eight week duration wherein a student is required to undergo practical training in a corporate house or may undertake a research project under the guidance of a faculty member.

    The Seminars and workshops on different contemporary themes in accordance with the latest trends at global and the national level at Accurate make it markedly different as they focus on the areas of crucial and strategic importance and focus on providing the students the special edge over their colleagues.


  • INTERFACE INDUSTRY AND GUEST SPEAKERS


    The curriculum revision committee consists of the faculty members, leading academicians from the other reputed and leading institutions and representatives from the corporate world. The committee meets every quarter to review the dynamics of change in the needs of the industry and recommends the necessary changes in the curriculum. Special lectures industrial/academic by various eminent speakers are emphasized at Accurate to provide the latest update directly from the doyens of management.

 

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The two-year PGDM program consists of six terms. This is also a dual specialization program where students can choose two elective areas from a range of functional areas such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and International Business. The program is a full time program offered from Greater Noida campus. Students go for industry internship program after the third term (at the end of first academic year) for about two months.
