Accurate Institute of Management and Technology, Greater Noida, organized a forte "Industrial Visit" to YAKULT DANONE PVT Ltd., Sonepat, Haryana, on Monday, December 19, 2022, for its flagship students of the "Two-Year" Full-Time PGDM Program, Batches 2023 and 2024, with the view of understanding corporate culture and its operations in the manufacturing and service industries, as well as witnessing changes in post-pandemic market demands and businesses,
The above-mentioned visit started early from the campus, to the manufacturing base of "Yakult Danone," at Sonepat, Haryana, wherein the students were cordially given a warm welcome, by the awaiting managerial staff, followed by an introduction presentation about "Yakult Danone,"as to how it operates across regions in the country, with a single plant capacity, located at HSIIDC, Sonepat, Haryana, in regard to Indian market operations, and tackling demands of its earmarked products, which follows a monopoly market as of date.
The presentation at Yakult Danone was a measured attempt to take the visiting students' learning and understanding of the importance of "probiotics" as a natural ingredient feature, important for humans, to keep ourselves always "disease free." In preparation for the exploitation of a "niche" market segment in this regard, Yakult Danone offers its small size pack drinks, in two variants, in a liquid format, filled and sealed in a small plastic bottle of 100 ml, ready to drink, for all age groups seeking a healthier lifestyle, the plastic bottle in this case being manufactured and labelled at its earmarked plant only, in Sonepat, Haryana, as part of the complete "Production and Operations" process in reality.
