The opening address was delivered by Dr. Urvashi Makkar, who in her brief address clearly illustrated the importance of the ‘Re-Orientation’ program, laying down the fact that it is always pertinent to not forget one’s "goal," on which one has started traversing confidently, and that one should not lose hope and glamour if something unwarranted erupts in the process of reaching the desired goal. In a nutshell, it is asserted here, as Dr. Urvashi elaborated, that one should not forget where one has started his or her journey and where one has to reach, which should be the epitome of one’s life goal. And, ergo, a re-visit or re-contemplation of one’s actions down the line in the journey should be adequately explored, filled in, and taken care of. It is what we express herewith that "a Gap Analysis’; should be understood.
Further, the Chief Guest, Dr. Pramod Kumar Joshi, added more feathers when he viewed that the values of professionalism should always be inculcated in life, across dealings in personal life as well as professionalism in the work place as such. Dr. Joshi offered four ‘Winning Mantra’; for achieving huge success in life, abbreviated as KAEP- Knowledge, Attitude, Effectiveness and Potential. This factor makes a mover self-realising.
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Tarun Sharma, closely associated himself with the fact that, if one has to achieve success in the long run, one has to move one small step every time, referring to the ultimate fact that each "calibrated" move deserves success and that the right calibration always takes one to the goal with the factor of control in place and at the right time. His punch line for success is "Past is the Best Predictor of Future".
Finally, the ‘Vote of Thanks" delivered by Mr.Satish Kumar Verma during an ‘Open House Question Answer Session" was taken into adequate consideration when the students posted a volley of questions to the distinguished and enlightened guests and speakers on areas of professional management, skill development, career choices, achieving success, and the like, which were answered to the satisfaction of the audience.
