The Grand and Successful Inauguration of CIF Lab

Excellence in scientific research and education, schools, need cutting-edge technology, various workshops, and related infrastructure. These tools and resources support academics, research associates, and students as they conduct fundamental and applied scientific R & D that is internationally competitive.

With this thought and to offer the best to our students, Accurate College Of Pharmacy recently inaugurated its Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) Laboratory on 8th July 2022 in the august presence of Dr. Robin Kumar, Principal Scientific Officer, Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Government of India.

Inauguration Of CIF Lab

Dr. Robin Kumar did the inauguration of CIF Lab by cutting the ribbon in the presence of Principle, faculty, and students on the 2nd floor of ACP. He appreciated the effort of the management and staff of the college in building the sophisticated CIF Lab. He visited and checked every instrument in the CIF Lab. He felt delighted to see the UV Visible Spectrophotometer (UV-900i), Shimadzu, Japan, and other instruments. He encouraged the students to use the CIF Lab best and keep the colleges name flying high.

After the inauguration, all the guests proceeded towards the seminar hall for the guest lecture on "Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission - IP, IPRS and its Mandates." Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma briefly introduced the event in his address. Dr. Robin Kumar (Principal Scientific Officer, Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission) and Dr. Sunil Mishra (Director, Polytechnic) were facilitated by the Principal, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma.

The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission

The speaker for the lecture, Dr. Robin Kumar, started by giving a brief overview of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission and its mandates. He talked about the introduction of Indian Pharmacopoeia, Drug and Cosmetic Act-1940, Role of Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, PVPI, Indian Pharmacopoeia, and Reference Standards, New Addition (8th Edition) of Indian Pharmacopoeia, Monographs, and WHO pre-approved Lab of IPC. The lecture was informative and interactive since students asked several questions at the end.

Our guests valuable experience and expertise in pharmacopeia and drug regulation greatly helped the Institutes students.

The Mementoes

Finally, after an engaging event, it was time to conclude the event. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma presented mementos and certificates to Dr. Robin Kumar. Following that, Mr. Vivek Dhiyani proposed the Vote Of Thanks.

In a short address, the Principal expressed his pleasure and thanked the Guest of Honour for his valuable time and presence at such a great event and the teachers for organizing this program.
