Webinar on Moving Forward with Mentoring

In this competitive era where we all are fighting for our place in excellence, we at Accurate Institute believe in training our students since inception. In the process of training we organize various corporate training sessions with the corporate/Industry doyens through which our students learn and gain the zeal of expertise.

One such initiative was taken recently by the PGP cell/ Academic team of Accurate Institute Saturday, 07th May 2022 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM for the students of MBA and PGDM to nurture the mentoring skills of future leaders.

This Initiative was to empower students with the latest developments in the corporate world and to integrate classroom learning with practical experiences. Main focus and the purpose of the session was on the following aspects of mentoring.

• Impact of mentoring
• How you can benefit from being both the mentee and Mentor.
• Tips and Exercise to enhance your mentoring skills.
• How to integrate the valuable lessons gained in your life.

Accurate Institute conducted a webinar on Moving forward with Mentoring in association with HRSuccess Talk and MentorCity Canada by Mr.Shawn Mintz, President MentorCity. He has a decade of experience in mentoring thousands of students around the globe and is also a recipient of George Brown Colleges Career and Work Counselor Crystal Award for Innovation and the Alumni Mentor of the year award.

The session helped students develop competency and skill:

• To boosts mentees confidence to execute the task efficiently
• Helps the mentee in improving the communication skills.
• Taught them how to build Interpersonal relationships in the organization.
• How to take constructive criticism positively and work on them.
• How to build a network of contacts.

Last but not the least, also taught them about the companys culture related to mentoring.

We really gained a lot of knowledge regarding the current industry development in the field of HR and the interpersonal relationship with the subordinates and the advantages of mentor-mentee relationship in the organization said Mr. Akash Kumar Singh (PGDM Batch: 21-23)
