India scripted a new chapter in the history of space activity on Wednesday with the successful launch of a record 104 satellites by ISRO’s polar satellite launch vehicle (PSLV) in a single mission.
PSLV – C 37 carrying the 104 satellites lifted off from the 1 launch pad at satish Dhawan space centre in sriharikota at9.28.out of the total 104 satellites placed orbit 101 satellites belonged to six foreign countries. They include 96 from the US and one each from Israel the UAE, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Kazakhstan.
Russian agency held a record of lunching 37 satellites in one go during its mission in June 2014. India previously launch 23 satellites in a single mission in June 2015.
The India nano – satellites are ISRO’s INA-1A,INA-1B.

The PSLV – XL varient rocket, standing 44.4 meter tall and weighing 320 ton.
PSLV 1st launch the 714kg CARTOSAT-2series satellites for earth observations, followed by 103 co-passanger satellites, together weighing about 664 kg at lift off into polar sun synchronas orbit about 520km from earth.
