Historically, the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering is one of the most important engineering disciplines that have changed the most of the world. Electronics and Communication Engineering is concerned with the design, development and application of electronic devices, circuits and systems. Electronics and Communication Engineering puts greater emphasis on understanding of fundamental principles and state of the art knowledge about Electronic Devices and Circuits, Computer Architecture and Microprocessors, VLSI and Embedded systems, Electromagnetic Field Theory, Analog and Digital Communication, Digital Signal Processing, Microwave Engineering and specially Wireless Communication. The department has well-qualified Educated From Govt. Institutions & Universities most of them are post graduated from Govt. Institutions and experienced faculty with a healthy student to staff ratio of 15:1. Out of which 1 is Doctorate, few are pursuing Ph.D and remaining are Post-Graduates. Faculty members have their own credit in technical papers published in National, International Journals and Conferences.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in the year 2006 for UG program with initial intake of 60 to meet the needs of the emerging electronics, IT industry and research. The main focused areas of the department are Antenna theory and design, Signal and Image Processing, Wireless Communication, VLSI Design and Embedded Systems. The department has MoUs with leading IT Industries for training as well recruitment.

This course of engineering covers the major fields of electronics like Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, VLSI Technology Design, Microprocessor and Micro controllers, Microwave Engineering, RADARs, Digital Communication, Satellite Communication, and Mobile Communication apart from basic subjects.
The graduates of the Electronics & Communication Stream have been selected by some of the world’s leading corporations & as well as by most of the leading Indian counter parts.
