The MCA program was started in 2008. The department is offering 2 years regular MCA programs. The department aims to achieve academic excellence by focusing on the key activities like providing "Education to students, enhancing their learning skills and giving them training to acquire the professional skills required for their career with an objective of making them socially committed profession"

The backbone of the department is a team of well qualified, experienced and committed faculty member who contribute to the development of academic expertise and interpersonal skills of the students. Various technical sessions and personality enhancement programs are initiated by the department for the overall. The department is equipped with well maintained class rooms, seminar hall, software and hardware lab, high speed Internet available. The alumni are placed in reputed organization like TCS, WIPRO, ADOBE, MADARSAN SUMI, COFORGE (NIIT TECHNOLOGY), IBM, HCL, INFOSYS, ACCENTUIRE, and bank link BOB, Fedral Bank etc.

Our Department Master of Computer Applications was started in the year 2008 and has been functioning successfully with remarkable achievements. Our department strives towards excellence in the field of computer applications. The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members. Our Department has committed and dedicate through our teaching and good learning environment for the student enhancement. The department regularly organizes various seminars, conferences and workshop etc, for the benefit of faculties and students in the area of computer applications. The department promotes research and development activities and also providing value added courses towards excellence in this field.

The students of Computer Applications have been recruited by renowned companies like TCS, WIPRO, ADOBE, MADARSAN SUMI, COFORGE (NIIT TECHNOLOGY), IBM, HCL, INFOSYS, ACCENTUIRE, MICROSOFT, BIRLASOFT etc. The department has a student association to encourage and motivate students to conduct and participate seminars, conferences and workshop on latest IT issues and participate themselves in industry interactions.

EVENTS

Our Department organizes Fresher’s party, Farewell, Alumni meet, Teacher’s day, Holi celebration, Deepawali celebration etc. Such parties/ celebrations not only build students confidence but also add creativity to their levels. Students are accompanied with so many colorful events. It has also helped to create a positive bonding between the seniors & juniors.

ACTIVITIES

Organizing activities are a great way to involve students, build awareness of your group, or even just show off a bit.

Activities and games like Quiz Competition, Dancing, Singing, Rangoli making, Painting, Basket-ball, Cricket, Chess, Carrom, etc. are organized every week in the department.
